- Holds a baitcaster reel in a cushioned cradle and a slot at the front also allows for a spinning reel to be securely held in position
- Designed with a side mounted flange, which leaves the bottom open accommodating rod trigger grips
- Pistol grip rod butts easily clear the sides of the rod holder for not only quick but also easy rod retrieval
- Also, rods can be secured safely with a soft latching strap (snaps over the top of the rod holder)
- Manufactured with fibre reinforced engineering grade nylon offering strength, resilience and reliability
- Includes No. 438 Gear-Head Track Adapter which quickly slides into place and locks down Scotty Rod Holders or Accessories
- Includes Baitcaster / Spinning Rod Holder and No. 440-4 Low Profile Track – made from high strength composite material
- Additionally, the No 282 can be quickly and easily installed on a kayak, canoe or any other small watercraft
