Each tube of the Traxstech Rod Storage Unit has a solid pin in the bottom for the rod butt to set on so there is no damage to your reels. Furthermore, these units can also be used to hold a net while fishing.

4 Tube Rod Storage

Our vertical rod storage units offer:

• All aluminum construction.
• 4 Tubes.

They feature two mounting options:

• Option #1 – Unit can be hard mounted, using holes provided.
• Option #2 – For the RSU-3, An 18″ track can be purchased and mounted first, this will allow the base plate of the storage unit to slide into the tracks and tighten in place using the thumbscrews provided, this allows for the unit to be easily removed when not in use.
• For the RSU-4, A 24″ track can be purchased and mounted first, this will allow the base plate of the storage unit to slide into the tracks and tighten in place using the thumbscrews provided, this allows for the unit to be easily removed when not in use.

Some examples of places to use these Rod Holders:

• Side of a hard top.
• Front side of engine covers inboard/outboard models.
• Front side of passenger console.
• Backside of the transom on fiberglass boats (usually with outboards).
• Using our rail mounts as well as track for mounting to a square pontoon boat rail.
• Garage wall for safely storing rods and also reels in the offseason.
